This Privacy Policy covers the Web site www.renkoo.com or www.renkoo.net (the "Site"). To demonstrate our commitment to our users' privacy, we disclose our information and privacy practices below. Below is our Privacy Policy governing our use of information gathered about you ("Information"). Although Renkoo is committed to maintaining your confidence and trust in all of our activities with you, this Privacy Policy does not govern our collection of data about you through channels other than this Site. About Renkoo and the Information We Collect

Renkoo provides an application and ancillary services that help people chat and plan events with friends. To accomplish this, our users create their own profiles and privacy settings. Subject to a user's privacy settings, certain personal information that we collect from such user is displayed to people designated as friends by such user.

Renkoo collects user-submitted account information such as name and email address to identify users and send notifications related to use of the site. Renkoo also collects user-submitted profile information such as photo, gender, telephone number, zip code, and birth date.

Renkoo also collects information that is not personally identifiable and not submitted directly by users, such as browser type, IP address, cookies, and page requested. This information is gathered for all users of the site.

If you choose to use our invitation service to tell a friend about our site, we will ask you for information needed to send the invitation, such as your friend's email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email or instant message inviting him or her to visit the Site. Renkoo stores this information to send this one-time invitation, to register a friend connection if your invitation is accepted, and to track the success of our referral program. You or your friend may contact us at feedback@renkoo.net to request to never receive invitations from the Site.

Although we allow you to set privacy options that limit access to your pages, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We cannot control the actions of other users with whom you may choose to share your pages and information. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that user content you post on the Site will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. Use of Information Collected By Renkoo

User-submitted profile information will be displayed to people designated as friends in a user's privacy settings in order to support the function of the site. Renkoo will not share a user's name and email address with any advertiser. However, a user's name and email address will be used when he or she invites a friend to the Site or when Renkoo's service is to be integrated with third party web services such as instant messaging providers.

We use server, IP address, and browser type for site administration. We also use this information to tailor advertising based on geographic area. Aggregate information derived from IP addresses may be reported to advertisers.

Renkoo uses information it collects regarding our users for the following general purposes: products and services provisioning, identification and authentication, services improvement, targeted advertising, contact, research, and anonymous reporting. If a user does not want to receive promotional email from Renkoo, such user may adjust his or her privacy settings accordingly. Spam Policy

Renkoo will only contact users based on specified user preferences for notification. By default, notification preference is by email address. Users can send non-users invitations by email through the Renkoo service if they already know the non-users' email address.

Email addresses will not be sold by Renkoo, and they will not be used for spam or any other purpose outside of Renkoo's services.

Renkoo's Web site may contain links to other Web sites. Renkoo is not responsible for the privacy practices of other Web sites. Use of Cookies

Users must enable cookies to use Renkoo's Web site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. Renkoo uses session cookies to manage sessions and persistent cookies. For the session cookie, once a user closes the browser, the cookie disappears.

A persistent cookie is a text file stored on the user's hard drive for an extended period of time. Persistent cookies can be removed by following Internet browser help file directions. Renkoo Accounts

Renkoo user account information is password-protected. Users can modify or remove any of their personal information at any time by logging into their account. Information will be updated immediately and old information will not be displayed to any user of the site.

Renkoo may send users communications relating to the Renkoo service, such as service announcements and administrative messages that are considered part of users' Renkoo accounts.

A user can delete his or her Renkoo account at any time; however, please note that identification information may remain in Renkoo's records for some period of time.

We limit access to personal information about users to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to users or in order to do their jobs. We may provide information to service providers to help us bring you the services we offer.
